OK, good video. I want to change my background to white, or not printed, and all my lines to black. How do I do that? I fear that if I follow your instructions I will wind up with white lines on a white background. In other words, by drawing will vanish and it will be impossible to print my drawing on paper. Thanks

Very Nice Tutorial. Happy 4th July. I watch your FreeCAD tutorials so how about a complete "how to make a custom techdraw template"? FreeCAD to InkScape show how to change title block size and or shape then save back to FreeCAD and the fillable fields in the title block still function like before. There are a lot of tutorials I've watched, but there is always something that isn't clear or not enough steps included with detail description of what is being done! Please do not overlook any step needed no matter how obvious, never use "shortcut keys" without telling everyone about what key(s) you used to do this, right! You really impress me with your general and advanced knowledge of FreeCAD and Professional Engineering Practices!!! Thanks G_Dub

What are the animation differences between joints and constraints? For an exercise, I modeled a robotic arm. It has three segments and a claw, and what I wanted to be a swiveling base. I have failed miserably. The assembly model itself I'm good with. But, to get it animated, I brought everything together using constraints. Then, I tried to animate those constraints. Things started flipping all over the place and twisting in weird directions, and some relationships went in the wrong direction (e.g., the base moved when I tried to move a part of the arm). I went through this 2 or 3 times, trying to redo things from scratch, trying different constraint setups, and then I decided to try joints. I used several rotational joints, but also employed some mating constraints. I cannot make both animate in the same scene. And, I can make neither animate properly, as things begin to flip around or bend in ways I never intended. I've modeled other things, and their animations did not have these issues. So... Is there any way to combine animated joints and animated constraints? If not, what would cause all the flipping and reverse-direction relationships? Thank you.

This did exactly what I wanted it to do! I'm still a bit confused as to why it worked though. I'm only familiar with shape keys under as something people use deform objects into new shapes for animation. What's the most basic description of what they actually do?
